Job summary

Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville, FL is seeking a Radiology Imaging Transporter to support patient flow across Radiology modalities. You will transport patients and related items safely, assist radiologists and technologists, and help maintain confidentiality.

The role requires a High School diploma, strong communication skills, basic computer skills, and the physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Schedule: Full-time, days/evenings; Mon-Fri with some weekends/holidays.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills required.
• Basic computer skills are required.
• Must be able to multitask and adapt to unpredictable situations.
• Must complete Mayo Clinic's New Employee Orientation and General Systems Training.
• Must be able to frequently lift up to 50 pounds unassisted and lift more than 50 pounds with assistance.

Responsibilities

• Transports patients and related items safely, efficiently, and on time throughout the facility.
• Assists Radiologists and Technologists in exams and procedures across Radiology modalities.
• Maintains patient confidentiality at all times.
• Communicates professionally with staff, patients, and visitors.
• Functions independently and as a team member, often receiving direction by phone.
• Keeps work area clean, organized, and stocked; stores equipment and supplies properly.
