Job Summary
Supervises technical and support staff in Radiology, operating various imaging equipment, troubleshooting procedures, and developing new techniques. Oversees MRI technologists' daily activities.
Essential Functions
Physical Requirements
Includes frequent bending, twisting, kneeling, lifting up to 25 pounds, and standing for 50% of the time. Requires good distance vision and manual dexterity for procedures like venipuncture.
Education, Experience, and Certifications
High School Diploma or GED required. Completion of an AMA-approved Technology program, registry with NMTCB or ARRT, and supervisory experience required. Advanced certification in CT and Radiology preferred. At least 3 years of experience in data processing and tomographic applications. Knowledge of current technology and ability to perform in a high-tech environment.
