Job Description

Position Overview: Jefferson Health is seeking a fellowship-trained Radiologist with a focus on breast imaging to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for breast imaging and a commitment to delivering high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities:

1. Perform and interpret a full range of breast imaging studies, including mammography, ultrasound, MRI, and tomosynthesis.
2. Provide accurate and timely diagnoses of breast conditions and diseases, including breast cancer, using advanced imaging techniques.
3. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop individualized treatment plans for patients with breast abnormalities.
4. Participate in research initiatives and contribute to the advancement of knowledge in the field of breast imaging.
5. Mentor and supervise residents, fellows, and other healthcare professionals in breast radiology techniques and interpretation.
6. Provide onsite coverage to community centers based on location and convenience.

Qualifications:

1. Medical degree from an accredited institution.
2. ABR board certification or eligibility in Diagnostic Radiology.
3. Fellowship training in Breast Imaging or equivalent experience.
4. Valid medical license in Pennsylvania and/or New Jersey (or eligibility for licensure).
5. Proficiency in interpreting a wide variety of breast imaging studies.
