Job summary

Adventist Health is seeking a Manager of Radiology Technologist to lead the diagnostic imaging department in San Luis Obispo, CA. The role oversees patient services, scheduling, staffing, budgets, and equipment operations in a busy hospital setting.

The Manager will ensure compliance with HIPAA, Joint Commission standards, and local/state/federal regulations while optimizing imaging workflows and radiology production.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required or equivalent combination of education/related experience.
• Master's Degree preferred.
• Five years' registered technologist experience preferred.
• One year's leadership experience preferred.
• Certification/licensure ARRT(R), ARRT(CT), ARRT(MRI), ARRT(M), ARDMS, or NMTCB required.

Responsibilities

• Manages daily operations of the diagnostic imaging department, including patient services and scheduling.
• Oversees staffing, training, and performance evaluation.
• Ensures compliance with HIPAA and regulatory standards across department workflows.
• Monitors RIS and PACS systems and maintains image/data integrity.
• Assists in budgeting and resource planning for the department.
• Identifies opportunities to improve imaging protocols and productivity.
