Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Intermediate to advanced computer skills.
• Strong multitasking and communication skills.
• Experience providing exceptional customer service.
• Medical terminology knowledge and recent medical/radiology office experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet and register patients in a friendly, service-oriented manner.
• Verify insurance information, collect signatures, and ensure accurate documentation.
• Collect and log all co-pays and fees.
• Answer and transfer incoming calls.
• Schedule, reschedule or cancel patient appointments and notify staff of changes.
• Orient patients to prep and safety protocols and provide directions to facilities.
• Coordinate with back-office staff for timely patient care.
• Safeguard patient property and health information on site.
• Safeguard medications on site according to policies and law.
• Maintain professional behavior toward patients and coworkers.
• Respect patient boundaries and cultural sensitivities.
• Interact diplomatically with patients, families, and the public in a clinical setting.
