Job summary

Skagit Radiology, Inc. P.S. is seeking a Front Desk Medical Receptionist to support the Breast Care Center. Under supervision of the Clinical Operations Manager, you will check-in patients, verify insurance, collect payments, and schedule exams with attention to accuracy and confidentiality.

Ideal candidates will have a High School Diploma or GED, 1+ year medical front desk experience, and familiarity with EPIC/RIS systems. Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus in this patient-focused environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1+ years’ experience working in a medical office front desk.
• EPIC software experience a plus.
• Bilingual in English/Spanish a plus.

Responsibilities

• Check-in and register patients arriving for appointments.
• Collect and verify insurance information.
• Collect patient payments.
• Schedule and reschedule patients as needed.
• Prepare required paperwork for exams.
• Process and prepare patient letters for mailing.
• Make reminder phone calls for next day patient appointments.
• Assist technologist staff as needed.
