Job summary

Norton Healthcare, Inc. is hiring a Medical Assistant - Xray to provide both clinical and administrative support in the medical office setting.

The role includes direct patient care, radiology functions, and coordination with physicians and staff to implement the care plan. The incumbent will promote effective communication among care providers, patients, and office staff, following age-appropriate guidelines and ensuring smooth clinic operations.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a medical assistant program or one year as a Medical Assistant.
• Must obtain RAD within 6 months of hire if currently hold RADT.
• Bachelor’s degree Radiologic Technology (Desirable).
• Certified Medical Assistant (Desirable).

• Taking patients to rooms

• Assisting with medical procedures
• Performing phlebotomy
• Obtaining lab specimens
• Adhering to safety and infection guidelines
• Maintaining electronic medical records (EMR)
• Calculating & administering medications & vaccinations

Education

Graduate of a medical assistant program

One year as Medical Assistant

LXMO/LXMOT/RAD/RADT certification
