Job summary

The Ohio State University College of Medicine and the Wexner Medical Center seek a highly experienced physician leader to serve as Thoracic Radiology Fellowship Program Director. The role is academic and open rank, with oversight of the training program and collaboration with department leadership to advance education and patient care.

Responsibilities include directing trainee education, ensuring compliance with standards, leading recruitment, developing curricula, and monitoring program

Qualifications

• MD/DO or equivalent degree required.
• Board eligible or board-certified in Radiology (ABR/ABOR).
• Subspecialty fellowship in Thoracic Imaging by time of appointment.
• Minimum three years of post-fellowship experience.
• Must possess or be eligible for licensure in Ohio.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership of the educational mission of the training program and oversee milestones.
• Foster a safe learning environment and promote interdisciplinary care.
• Monitor trainee performance, evaluations, and program quality metrics.
• Lead recruitment of trainees and develop a respected training curriculum.
• Ensure compliance with Joint Commission, HIPAA, OSHA, and other standards.
• Attend administrative meetings and manage program documentation.

Education

MD/DO or equivalent

Subspecialty fellowship in Thoracic Imaging

Three years of post-fellowship experience
