Job summary

Dartmouth Health’s Department of Radiology seeks a Vice Chair for Education to lead educational strategy across medical students, residents, fellows, and faculty development at DHMC and affiliated sites in the Upper Valley. The VCE will work closely with the GME and Geisel School of Medicine to oversee CME programming and scholarly education, with opportunities for publication and national engagement.

The role blends leadership with clinical radiology duties.

Qualifications

Board-certified in Diagnostic Radiology by ABR.
Must obtain and maintain medical licensure in NH and VT.
Experience in educational administration and leadership preferred.
Academic rank at Associate or Full Professor level preferred.

Responsibilities

Define and execute an educational vision for learners across programs.
Oversee medical student, resident, fellow, and pre-med educational initiatives.
Lead continuing medical education (CME) programming for faculty and external radiologists.
Interface with GME/UME offices and school leadership to align curricula.
Collaborate with Quality, IT, and Research to enhance education delivery.
Mentor and sponsor faculty and trainees, fostering a culture of learning.
