Job summary

ARMStaffing seeks an Adult Echo Tech/Sonographer for a 13-week contract in Asheville, NC. The role involves performing adult echocardiograms (2D/3D, strain), stress testing, and using treadmill methods in hospital or office settings. Flexibility and adaptability to a fast-paced environment are essential.

Schedule is day shift (07:00–16:30). Travel reimbursement and housing/meal allowances are included as part of the contract package.

Qualifications

• Current BLS certification is required.
• CAC or ARDMS certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform adult echocardiograms, including 2D/3D imaging and strain echoes.
• Conduct stress echocardiograms and treadmill tests.
• Utilize advanced imaging equipment, including Philips Epiq and IE33 systems.
• Document and report findings using Intellispace Cardiovascular and Cerner PowerChart EMR systems.

Job Description

The Adult Echo Tech/Sonographer position involves performing a variety of echocardiogram procedures including 2D/3D imaging, strain echoes, and stress echoes using treadmill methods. The role requires adaptation to a fast-paced environment and flexibility in scheduling, as the traveler could be scheduled at both the hospital and office settings.

Responsibilities

• Perform adult echocardiograms, including 2D/3D imaging and strain echoes.
• Conduct stress echocardiograms and treadmill tests.
• Utilize advanced imaging equipment, including Philips Epiq and IE33 systems.
• Document and report findings using Intellispace Cardiovascular and Cerner Power Chart EMR systems.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current BLS certification.
