Job summary

MetroWest Medical Center is seeking a results‑driven healthcare leader to oversee departmental operations, budgeting, and staff performance. You will identify issues, implement solutions, and ensure high quality patient care across the division.

The role emphasizes staff development, disciplinary actions when needed, and collaboration with leadership to achieve operational excellence. A strong clinical background in imaging and formal credentials are essential.

Qualifications

• Education: Graduate of accredited Imaging Program
• Experience: 5 years technical experience
• Experience: 2 years management experience
• Licensure/Certification: American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT)
• Licensure/Certification: State license if required
• Preferred: Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree
• Preferred: Licensure/Certification: Certified Radiology Administrator (CRA)

• Develops and manages the annual department operating and capital budgets
• Directs daily operations of assigned departments
• Directs performance of staff
• Has ability to hire, fire and discipline staff
• Performs related duties as required

Job description

Exercises overall supervision of the department. Assesses, plans, implements, evaluates, and disciplines the employees according to the general personnel policies of the hospital. Will identify, study, and assist in resolving problems relating to the department. Manages staff assigned to the department. Completes established competencies for the position within designated introductory period. Other related duties as assigned.
