Job summary

Ascension is seeking an experienced nurse to join the Radiology Diagnostic Unit at Ascension St. John Medical Center in Tulsa, OK. This full-time day-shift role supports advanced image-guided procedures and patient care.

You will collaborate with interventional radiologists and technologists, manage moderate sedation and real-time patient status, and deliver thorough discharge instructions to ensure safe transitions home.

Qualifications

• BLS Provider required within 30 days of hire.
• Registered Nurse license from OK Board of Nursing required prior to hire date.
• ALS (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Provide expert nursing care during image-guided procedures with emphasis on safety and efficiency.
• Manage moderate sedation, hemodynamics, and real-time patient status during complex interventions.
• Collaborate with interventional radiologists, technologists, and multidisciplinary teams for pre-, intra-, and post-procedural workflows.
• Lead post-procedure recovery and deliver thorough discharge instructions.
