Shift: Friday, Saturday, Sunday 7:00am-7:30pm

Summary

Responsible for operating and maintaining complex imaging equipment to produce high-quality images according to established standards. Reports to the Team Lead or Manager.

Responsibilities
  1. Perform imaging procedures, produce diagnostic images, and maintain skills to meet evaluation expectations. Document all activities and adhere to policies regarding quality, safety, and patient flow. Operate and maintain imaging hardware and software.
  2. In Ambulatory, produce all imaging necessary for research plans in the Pediatric Imaging Center and assist end users with imaging equipment.
  3. Participate in training, obtain/maintain licensure and certification, and perform other duties as required.
  4. Collaborate with departmental staff to facilitate patient care and participate in department/hospital processes.
Work Experience
  • At least 1 year of related experience (preferred)
  • Proficient in biomedical imaging and scientific environments (preferred)
Education
  • Two-year Associate's degree or equivalent experience (preferred)
Licenses and Certifications
  • ARRT in Radiography (Required upon hire)
  • Texas MRT license (Required within 30 days)
  • Basic Life Support (Required upon hire)
