Summary:
Responsible for operating and maintaining complex imaging equipment to produce high-quality images according to established standards. Performs exams in Computed Tomography (CT) and Diagnostic X-ray Imaging based on exam orders, following approved protocols. Ensures quality and licensure standards are met. Demonstrates our values, The Children’s Way, with patients, families, team members, and visitors. Acts as a resource and advocate for technologists, students, and others. Reports to the Team Lead or Manager.

Responsibilities:

  1. Develops proficiency in a wide range of technical processes or procedures through training and experience.
  2. Understands the roles of all team members and how the team integrates with others.
  3. Provides guidance and support to junior team members on technical problems, workload management, and skill application.
  4. Impacts the quality, timeliness, and effectiveness of the team.
  5. Works within defined processes but may develop approaches for new assignments.
  6. Explains complex technical information clearly, even in challenging situations or with sensitive topics.

Work Experience:
At least 2 years of related experience preferred.

Education:
Two-year Associate's degree or equivalent experience preferred.

Licenses and Certifications:

  • ARRT in Radiography (Required upon hire)
  • ARRT in CT (Required after 1.5 years)
  • Texas MRT license (Required within 30 days)
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers (Required)
