Summary

Responsible for operating and maintaining complex imaging equipment to produce high-quality images according to established standards. Performs exams in Computed Tomography (CT) and Diagnostic X-ray Imaging based on exam orders and approved protocols. Ensures quality and licensure standards are met. Demonstrates our values, The Children's Way, with patients, families, team members, and visitors. Acts as a resource and advocate for technologists, students, and others. This position reports to the Team Lead or Manager.

Responsibilities
  1. Develop proficiency in a wide range of technical processes or procedures through training and experience.
  2. Understand the roles of all team members and how the team integrates with others.
  3. Provide guidance and support to junior team members on technical problems; help manage workload and apply skills.
  4. Impact the quality, timeliness, and effectiveness of the team.
  5. Work within defined processes and develop approaches for new assignments.
  6. Explain complex technical information clearly, even in challenging situations.
Work Experience

At least 2 years of job-related experience preferred.

Education

Two-year Associate's degree or equivalent experience preferred.

Licenses and Certifications
  • ARRT in Radiography (Required upon hire)
  • ARRT in CT (1.5 years required)
  • Texas MRT license (30 days required)
  • Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers (Required)
