Job summary

Aiken Regional Medical Centers, part of Universal Health Services, is hiring a Radiology Technologist Bridge to CT Technologist in Aiken, South Carolina. This full-time role supports radiology operations and patient care in a busy department.

Responsibilities include preparing rooms, operating X-Ray and C-Arm equipment, and coordinating with Radiologists to ensure timely image delivery to PACS. Eligible ARRT license required.

Qualifications

• Education: Successful completion of a radiological program or equivalent military training.
• BLS certification required or obtained within 90 days.
• Current RT registration or registration eligible with successful completion within 90 days.
• Current SC license or Temporary B license issued by SC Radiation Quality Standards Association.

Responsibilities

• Prepares room, equipment, contrast media and materials as needed for procedures.
• Maintains clean and stocked X-Ray procedure room daily.
• Warms X-Ray equipment daily and ensures it is functioning properly.
• Prepares patient for X-ray procedure, positions patient and assists as needed.
• Sends images to PACS and verifies availability for interpretation.
• Operates portable X-Ray and C-Arm in inpatient and operating room settings.
• Assists Radiologists during procedures and takes films as requested.
• Rotates to other imaging departments and participates in on-call rotation.
