Job summary

Aiken Regional Medical Centers in Aiken, SC, is seeking a Radiology Technologist for the Bridge Program to Multimodality. The role supports radiology procedures, patient preparation, equipment operation, and image delivery to PACS. It requires ARRT/South Carolina licensure and BLS certification with on-site duties in the ER and hospital imaging suite.

The position emphasizes patient safety, proper radiation practices, and teamwork with Radiology staff and physicians in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Education requirements: Successful completion of a radiological program or equivalent military training.
• BLS (or obtained within 90 days of employment).
• Required licenses/certifications: Current ARRT and South Carolina license or Temporary B license issued by SC Radiation Quality Standards Association.

Responsibilities

• Prepare room, equipment, contrast media and materials for procedures.
• Position patients and assist during X-ray procedures and transfers.
• Operate portable X-ray and C-Arm in inpatient and OR settings.
• Send images to PACS and ensure availability for interpretation.
• Maintain radiology department operations and assist Radiologists as needed.
