Cynet Health is seeking a Radiology - CT Tech to join our imaging team in New York. This 13-week assignment focuses on performing CT scans, maintaining patient safety, and delivering high-quality images.

You will operate CT equipment, prepare documentation, and adhere to radiation safety standards while providing compassionate patient care.

Candidates should graduate from a Radiologic Technology program, hold NYSDOH license, and ARRT certification; strong independence and teamwork are valued.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Graduate of a program in Radiologic Technology.
• Proficiency in the performance of CT imaging exams.
• Ability to work independently or under supervision.

Responsabilités

• Produce CT radiographs of designated anatomical areas as ordered.
• Prepare or enter written documentation as required.
• Observe sterile and aseptic techniques when necessary.
• Check equipment, supplies, and accessories regularly.
• Perform examinations promptly while observing radiation safety standards.
• Adhere to hospital and department policies.

Description:Maintain and exhibit behavior that promotes patient confidence and trust.Demonstrate proficiency in the use and application of pediatric immobilization devices adhering to safety precautions.Produce computerized tomographic scanner radiographs of designated anatomical areas as ordered.Prepare or enter written documentation as required.Observe sterile and aseptic techniques when necessary.Check equipment, supplies, and accessories regularly.Assess the physical needs of adult and geriatric patients.Recognize and alleviate patient fears and apprehensions regarding exams.Maintain orderliness and cleanliness of work areas.Complete requested examinations in a timely manner, observing radiation safety standards.Address the special needs of each age group served.Observe Bio-Safety and radiation safety rules and regulations.Adhere to established hospital and department policies and procedures.Demonstrate computer literacy and operate equipment as directed.Be aware of and able to prevent sentinel events.Responsibilities and duties may change at the discretion of management.Perform related duties as needed.
