Job summary

ARMStaffing is seeking a Computed Tomography (CT) Technologist to perform a broad range of imaging procedures and support other technologists. You will troubleshoot basic maintenance, participate in QA, and ensure smooth patient flow across campuses as needed.

The role requires an accredited Radiology Technology background, ARRT/NMTCB CT or Radiography certification, and NM licensure. BLS is required. Flexible shifts and ongoing education are included for career growth.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiology Technology program.
• 1 year CT experience in hospital/clinical setting preferred.
• Certification: Radiography (R) by ARRT, Nuclear Medicine Technology by ARRT or NMTCB, or CT by ARRT or NMTCB.
• State licensure in New Mexico (CT or FUS by MIRTP NMED) required.
• BLS certification via AHA required.

Responsibilities

• Perform examinations/procedures to assist in patient throughput within licensure and competencies.
• Ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and standards of care.
• Adapt patient assessment, treatment, and care methods to meet individual needs.
• Maintain equipment and troubleshoot malfunctions, reporting to management/Biomedical personnel.
• Participate in ongoing education, safety, and technical advances within licensure.
• Facilitate physician satisfaction by assisting radiologists and referring physicians.
• Complete exams and ensure they are correctly scanned and stored in PACS.

Computed Tomography (CT) Technologist

Job Description

The Computed Tomography (CT) Technologist will perform a wide variety of routine and advanced imaging procedures, providing support for other imaging technologists as needed, and facilitating smooth and efficient patient flow. The CT Technologist will demonstrate flexibility by working different shifts and/or at other campuses as needed or required. Responsibilities include troubleshooting basic maintenance, participating in quality assurance, and resolving issues related to image processing and the image archiving system.

Responsibilities

• Perform examinations/procedures to assist in patient throughput within the scope of licensure and documented competencies.
• Ensure compliance with all policies, procedures, and standards of care.
• Adapt patient assessment, treatment, and care methods to meet individual needs.
• Maintain equipment and troubleshoot any malfunctions, reporting to management or Biomedical personnel as necessary.
• Participate in ongoing education, safety, and technical advances within the scope of licensure.
• Facilitate exceptional physician satisfaction by assisting radiologists and referring physicians.
• Complete exams and ensure they are correctly scanned and stored in PACS.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Graduate of an accredited school of Radiology Technology or an equivalent program.
• 1 year of CT experience in a hospital or clinical setting preferred.
• One of the following primary modality certifications is required: Radiography (R) by ARRT, Nuclear Medicine Technology by ARRT or NMTCB, or Computed Tomography (CT) by ARRT or NMTCB.
• State licensure in New Mexico (CT or FUS by MIRTP NMED).
• BLS certification via AHA required.

Schedule

This position requires a night shift from 7 PM to 7 AM, with weekend and on-call requirements, as well as floating to different locations as needed.
