Job summary

Cynet Health is seeking an experienced Radiology CT Tech to join our team in Pittsfield, MA for a 13-week assignment. Primarily CT procedures are required, with additional X-ray duties; the position offers an Afternoon shift and 8-hour days.

Description:This is a CT/X-Ray technologist position.Primarily, CT will be needed for this role, but X-ray experience is also required.Perform a wide variety of technical procedures, requiring independent judgment and critical thinking.Requires initiative to apply appropriate skills to facilitate a diagnosis.May be assigned independent responsibilities by supervisory personnel.Proper care of patients in accordance with departmental and hospital policies and procedures is required.May be responsible for supervising or instructing department personnel as determined by management.Excellent communication skills in written, verbal, and electronic formats are required.Practice infection control in clinical practice in compliance with departmental policies and OSHA standards.Maintain patient confidentiality.Demonstrate proper operation of PACS, HIS, and RIS computer systems.Demonstrate ability to operate and troubleshoot CR, DR, CT, and PACS applications.Complete annual mandatory education, including bloodborne pathogens, infection control, and body substance isolation.Ensure maintenance of department competencies as required.Technologist will be required to perform primary diagnostic Radiology and CT scan tasks, including IV insertion and injections.All scheduling requests must be included in the profile prior to submission.Requests made after an offer may lead to rescinded offers.All requested time off during the assignment must be noted and verified at the time of application.No more than five days of requested time off will be accepted.
