Origin Travel Nurses seeks a CT Tech for a 13-week night shift assignment in Hagerstown, MD. The role involves operating CT equipment, preparing patients, and ensuring QA standards are met.

CT Tech - Night Shift

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Night shift: 3x12-hour shifts from 19:00 to 07:30, every third weekend.

Job Description

The CT Tech is responsible for performing imaging procedures to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of patients. This includes operating CT equipment, preparing patients, and ensuring quality assurance standards are met.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT scans of various body parts, ensuring the highest quality images are produced.
• Administer contrast media as needed and monitor patients for adverse reactions.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to infection control protocols.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to provide optimal patient care.
• Document patient interactions and imaging results accurately in the electronic health record (Epic).

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a CT Tech.
• Current certifications: BLS, ARRT-CT.
• Experience with Epic charting system is required.
