Job summary

Responsibilities

• Work weekends on Saturday, Sunday and Monday 8:00 AM–8:30 PM.
• Coordinate patient transport to and from the ED and inpatients as needed.
• Support radiologists during off-site hours via secure paging for questions.

Description:The position involves working weekends on Saturday, Sunday, and Monday from 8:00 AM to 8:30 PM.Two technicians are staffed on this shift to cover X-ray and CT for emergency department and inpatients.Some transport of patients to and from the emergency department is required.Radiologists are available off-site during these hours for questions.The facility utilizes Epic - Clientnt for radiology.Secure paging is available to communicate with the radiologists.The facility operates as a primary stroke center.Scrub color for the position is hunter green.Agency staff are required to float to other units or campuses as needed, limited to areas where staff are qualified.
