Job Description
The CT Technologist will provide timely diagnostic services to both inpatients and outpatients under the direction of a Radiologist and departmental protocols. The role encompasses performing both CT and general radiographic procedures, including fluoroscopy, portable radiography, C-arm procedures, and OR imaging services.
Responsibilities
- Perform basic radiographic procedures, fluoroscopy, and portable radiographic procedures.
- Conduct C-arm procedures and routine imaging services in the operating room.
- Provide quality patient care and maintain patient safety during imaging procedures.
- Ensure all images are captured according to departmental protocols and Radiologist's guidelines.
- Assist in the management of patient information through the use of EMR (Cerner).
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
- Minimum of one year of Radiology and CT experience is required.
- ARRT (R) certification is mandatory.
- State license as a general radiographer is necessary.
- Experience with GE CT equipment is preferred.
