Job summary

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule/Shift

The schedule runs Wednesday to Tuesday, with mixed shifts of 7 PM to 7 AM and 11 PM to 7 AM. The specific schedule is as follows:

• Wednesday: 7 PM - 7 AM
• Thursday: 11 PM - 7 AM
• Friday: 11 PM - 7 AM
• Saturday: 7 PM - 7 AM
• Sunday: 7 PM - 7 AM
• Monday: 3 PM - 7 AM
• Tuesday: 7 PM - 7 AM

On-call requirements include CT call every 5th week, primarily covering the 7 AM - 7 PM shifts on Saturdays and Sundays.

Job Description

The CT Technologist will perform imaging procedures using GE Optima 660 CT while working closely with a multidisciplinary team ensuring high-quality patient care. The technologist will be responsible for preparing and administering contrast media, performing CT scans, and accurately documenting information in Cerner RIS and Merge PACS. This position requires adherence to radiation safety protocols and participation in the maintenance of imaging equipment.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT scans of various body regions, including abdomen, chest, and head, with and without contrast.
• Prepare and administer contrast media as required for imaging studies.
• Use advanced imaging techniques such as 3D rendering and multiplanar reconstruction.
• Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with safety protocols.
• Provide excellent patient care and support during imaging procedures.

Required Experience

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in CT technology.
• Experience in charting systems, preferably Cerner.

Certifications/Licensure

• ARRT certification required.
