New York Imaging in Bohemia, NY is seeking a Radiology Coordinator to ensure accurate patient information, scheduling, and documentation for add-on appointments. You will work closely with radiologists and technologists to manage schedules and respond to inquiries.

We value strong communication and organizational skills, with a high school diploma or equivalent required. This role offers a comprehensive benefits package and a Monday-Friday schedule with 8- to 6-hour shifts.

Responsibilities

• Pay meticulous attention to detail to ensure all patient information is up to date and accurate.
• Schedule and prep patients appropriately.
• Ensure valid authorization is on file and obtain all relevant documentation for add on appointments.
• Collaborate with radiologists and technologists to address any issues or changes with schedules.
• Address messages from other staff, departments, and MD offices.
• Adhere to HIPAA guidelines while handling sensitive patient information.
• Address all email inquiries as applicable in a timely manner.
