Saint Francis is seeking an experienced Radiology Support professional for a variable shift in Tulsa, OK. You will ensure radiology orders are reviewed and the procedure completed per protocol, coordinating with radiologists, clinicians, and staff to maintain high standards of patient care.

Responsibilities include data collection for reviews, liaison work with referring physicians, and delegating access via a radiologist dictation system.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology Program.
• Bachelor's Degree in a closely related area preferred.
• Registered Radiology Technologist ARRT (R). Advanced registry in CT, MRI, Nuclear Medicine or Ultrasound preferred.
• Advanced Multi-Modality preferred. Must have ARRT or CBET certification.
• 3-4 years direct experience or closely related experience.
• Requires excellent interpersonal communications, hearing, speaking and good writing skills.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.

Responsabilités

• Collects, organizes and prepares patient data for radiologist review prior to specific radiologic exam.
• Acts as team facilitator for radiology and staff with procedure protocols.
• Liaises with physicians and staff regarding procedures, requests or queries.
• Delegates physician access and communication via a phone triage system in radiologist dictation area.
• Gathers relevant patient history and outside imaging as needed from referring office staff.
• Integrates information from internal and external sources to aid patient care.
• Maintains effective communication with physicians and staff and supports organizational goals.
• Assists Imaging Quality Control Coordinator as needed.
• Keeps personal skill set up to date to maintain credibility with staff.
