Job summary

St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital’s Radiology Department seeks a collaborative Clinical Research Operations leader with regulatory expertise to optimize workflows and SOPs across the clinical research lifecycle.

You will translate regulatory requirements into practical workflows and coach a growing team through operational change. This role requires strong communication, problem solving, and project management to advance radiology or imaging-related research.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field required.
• Extensive experience in clinical research operations and regulatory compliance.
• Experience coordinating multi-site clinical trials and interacting with regulatory bodies.

Responsibilities

• Assist in development and management of clinical research protocols in compliance with regulatory requirements (data collection, reporting, record maintenance, protocol issue resolution, IRB engagement).
• Set up, plan, maintain, and close-out single and multi-institutional national and international clinical trials.
• Track and oversee documentation, study status and milestones within CTMS, eTMF and other systems.
• Utilize tools, metrics, and reports as part of the full study management lifecycle.
• Serve in an advisory role for institutional and NIH grants.
• Act as liaison between Principal Investigators, internal bodies and external stakeholders.
• Develop, implement, and maintain SOPs and business processes for conduct of clinical protocols.
• Mentor and guide team members and ensure timely resource availability.
• Track resource allocations and escalate study and staff-related issues.
• Engage in hiring, performance management, and other people processes.
• Perform other duties as assigned to meet department and institutional goals.
• Maintain regular and predictable attendance.
