Job summary

UnityPoint Health through St. Luke’s Hospital seeks a Radiology Education Coordinator to coordinate clinical education for approximately twenty student radiographers. You will supervise, instruct, and evaluate student progress across clinical experiences.

The role involves coordinating clinical activities, maintaining records, and collaborating with hospital staff and instructors to ensure high-quality education and student success.

Qualifications

• Must possess or be in pursuit of a baccalaureate degree in an appropriate discipline.
• Must have a minimum of two years professional experience as a radiographer.
• Must be ARRT-certified as a radiographer and hold a valid Iowa permit to practice.

Responsibilities

• Provides classroom and clinical supervision for student radiographers.
• Delivers clinical instruction and supervision to student radiographers.
• Coordinates and evaluates the clinical competency program for each student.
• Maintains clinical records and coordinates interactions between students, staff and hospital.
• Assists in planning, delivering and evaluating the approved curriculum.
• Provides leadership to students and counsels them on academic matters.
