Job Summary

Reporting to the Radiology Manager, this position involves approximately 60% clinical duties, with the remainder dedicated to coordinating departmental operations and guiding staff.

Essential Functions

1. Interact with co-workers, visitors, and staff in line with Jefferson's values.
2. Operate imaging equipment for diagnostic and therapeutic purposes.
3. Monitor patient condition during procedures and alert physicians of any complications.
4. Provide radiologists with high-quality images for diagnosis.
5. Ensure compliance with all safety regulations related to imaging.
6. Properly position patients and equipment before procedures.
7. Administer oral or injected contrast agents as needed.
8. Maintain reports on patient data and radiologic treatments.
9. Ensure high-quality imaging procedures and conduct quality assurance reviews.
10. Precept and develop new staff and facilities to meet evolving needs.
11. Organize and oversee departmental services and operations per hospital policies.
12. Monitor patient flow to optimize productivity.
13. Implement departmental policies and procedures consistently.
14. Assist with staffing schedules to maintain efficient turnaround times.
