Responsibilities

• Answers telephone and uses dictaphone system to manage exam orders.
• Works with ordering physicians to clarify radiology orders as needed.
• Maintains x-ray films and file room; requests previous folders from Radiology archives.
• Distributes films and reports to respective radiology areas and coordinates with other facilities for comparison films.
• Reports any equipment malfunction and works independently under supervision.
