Job summary

Henry Ford Health is seeking a Radiology Clerk at Genesys Regional Medical Center in Grand Blanc, Michigan. You will be the first point of contact for patients and support the Radiology Department by scheduling procedures and maintaining records using the AGFA System.

You will greet patients, answer calls, schedule outpatient procedures, manage x-ray films and reports, handle subpoenas and outside film requests, and keep the work area clean and compliant with policies.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent from an accredited program.
• Ability to read, write, and follow oral and/or written instructions.
• Demonstrated discretion in handling confidential information.
• Effective communication skills and ability to establish rapport with patients, staff, and external contacts.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients, answer telephones, and direct calls to ensure a welcoming and efficient experience.
• Schedule outpatient procedures and tests, and prepare surgery schedules to support patient care.
• Maintain and distribute x-ray films, reports, and patient records using the AGFA System.
• Process subpoenas and manage requests for outside films to ensure compliance and continuity of care.
• Keep the work area clean, orderly, and safe to maintain a professional environment.
