The Department of Radiology at Thomas Jefferson University is seeking a full-time cardiothoracic radiologist to join our faculty. The successful candidate should have a strong interest or background in academic radiology and a passion for teaching medical students and radiology trainees.

Job Description

The faculty in the Department of Radiology provides clinical services at Jefferson University Hospitals, a state-of-the-art tertiary medical center in Philadelphia and the primary teaching hospital of the Sidney Kimmel Medical College. The Cardiothoracic Imaging Division interprets all adult chest X-rays, thoracic CTs, cardiovascular CTs, and MRIs. Our division collaborates closely with pulmonary medicine, thoracic surgery, and oncology. We utilize advanced imaging technologies including CR and DR radiography, multidetector CT scanners, high-field MRI systems, FDG-PET, PET-MRI, and interventional suites.

Our department operates in a fully digital environment, engaging in cutting-edge clinical and research activities. We offer comprehensive teaching resources, case search tools, and radiology report communication systems. Located in the heart of downtown Philadelphia, our department is easily accessible via excellent transit options.

Position Details

This position can be at the rank of Assistant or Associate Professor, with rank and academic track based on experience and credentials.
