Job summary

Startekk Inc. seeks an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for an Interventional Radiology / Cardiac Cath Lab position in California.

The RN will provide comprehensive patient care and support before, during, and after procedures, with a focus on central venous access, PICC care, hemodynamics, pacemaker procedures, and vascular interventions. Responsibilities include assisting the procedural team, monitoring patients, maintaining documentation, and ensuring safety standards are met.

Qualifications

• Active RN license is required.
• Compact RN license must be active/in hand at submission.
• Minimum 1 year of IR/Cath Lab experience.
• AHA BLS certification required.
• ACLS certification required; CA-specific ACLS credential in hand where applicable.
• Ability to work scheduled shifts and participate in call rotation.
• COVID-19 and influenza vaccination requirements may apply.
• Strong clinical, communication, and patient-care skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care for patients undergoing interventional radiology and cardiac catheterization procedures.
• Prepare and monitor patients before, during, and after procedures.
• Assist physicians and the procedural team during invasive procedures.
• Perform central venous access and maintenance.
• Provide PICC-line care and maintenance.
• Support diagnostic cardiac catheterizations and cardiac catheterization interventions.
• Perform and monitor hemodynamic assessments.
• Support pacemaker-related procedures.
• Assist with peripheral vascular procedures and interventions.
• Support angiography and vascular intervention procedures.
• Provide care related to procedures involving vascular, genitourinary, gastrointestinal, neurological, and cardiac systems.
• Monitor patient condition and respond appropriately to changes during procedures; maintain accurate clinical documentation and follow established safety and infection-control standards.
