Description:Operates ultrasound equipment to perform clinical diagnostic ultrasound exams and routine invasive procedures according to established standards and practices.Provides patient services utilizing ultrasound equipment.Demonstrates knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy and pathology.Provides patient care to all age groups, including neonatal, pediatrics, adult, and geriatrics.Communicates effectively with staff and radiologists.Understands the clinical procedures and standards in the echocardiography department.Maintains compliance with all required protocols and procedures.Participates in departmental and interdepartmental meetings as needed.Maintains ultrasound equipment and ensures it is operational.Adheres to safety and infection control protocols while performing duties.Works collaboratively with the healthcare team to provide quality care.Is adaptable to floating within the department as needed.Is willing to work on weekends and holidays as required.
