Job summary

Cynet HealthStaff seeks a Radiology/Cardiology Echo Tech for a 13-week assignment in South Carolina. You’ll perform transthoracic echocardiograms and vascular studies with a 36-hour workweek, Monday through Thursday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Requirements: South Carolina RN license, dual RDCS/RCS and RVT certifications, and 2+ years of vascular/cardiac imaging. No on-call or weekend shifts; travel may be required per facility needs.

Qualifications

• Must have dual RDCS/RCS and RVT certifications.
• 2+ years of vascular and cardiac imaging experience.
• Experience with vascular duplex and groin studies.

Responsibilities

• Perform transthoracic echocardiograms and vascular studies.
• Be the sole technologist on shift with 10–12 cases per day.

Description:This position requires dual certification with RDCS/RCS and RVT.The Echo Tech/Cardiac Sonographer will work approximately 36 hours a week, Monday through Thursday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.The individual will be the only tech on shift.The daily caseload per tech will be 10-12.On-call duty is not required for this position.Weekend work is not a requirement.Floating between service lines is not required.Experience in transthoracic echocardiograms (TTE) and vascular studies is essential.A radiation badge is required, and it must be provided by the agency.Travelers should be aware that during hurricane season, all employees may be assigned to emergency response teams.This position is open to first-time travelers.Candidates must include all requested time off at the time of submission; approval will be based on facility needs.Musc will prioritize candidates with a South Carolina license in hand.Candidates with a pending license may be considered if proof of application is provided.The facility does not provide radiation badges; they must be obtained through the agency.Travelers must meet all pre-start compliance requirements on time.Travelers are advised to complete any necessary labs prior to vacation plans during the compliance process.This position does not require weekend coverage or call duties.All labs must be completed within 72 hours of signing if within 90 days of the start date.
