ARMStaffing is seeking an Interventional Specialist for the Catheterization Lab in Akron, OH. The role involves assisting cardiologists with diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures, EP studies, and RF ablations across age groups, maintaining sterile technique and equipment readiness.

Requirements include ARRT radiography licensure, BLS, ACLS/PALS within one year, and 3+ years of relevant experience. On-site with competitive benefits offered by ARMStaffing.

Qualifications

• Education: Graduate of a radiologic technology program is required.
• A.R.R.T. Radiography registry with current ODH licensure is required.
• BLS certification is required; ACLS and PALS certifications are required or must be obtained within one year.
• A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience is preferred.
• Experience with pediatric/adult congenital conditions and sterile techniques is preferred.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Word) or similar software is required.

Job Description

The Interventional Specialist in the Catheterization Lab assists cardiologists with diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures, electrophysiology (EP) studies, and radiofrequency (RF) ablations on diverse patient populations, including newborns, children, and adults with congenital heart disease.

Responsibilities

• Assist interventional cardiologists by scrubbing into procedures as a sterile scrub assistant and managing x-ray equipment.
• Scrub, circulate, and monitor diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures and EP ablation procedures.
