A leading healthcare provider in Corbin, Kentucky is seeking a Radiologist specializing in Mammography for long-term locum support. The role involves outpatient settings with a patient population of 18+, performing various breast-related procedures. The ideal candidate will have the necessary certifications and experience in diagnostics to ensure continuity of care.

Coverage type: No Call
8-4:30 M-F, no night or weekend call. (Would consider 4x10-hour shifts) seeking long-term support.
Prefer one locum for patient continuity of care.
Outpatient
Setting: Outpatient
Patient Population: 18+
Details on Mamo rooms with diagnostic equipment per room: Three Hologic 3D Mammo units in the breast center, with one unit in an outpatient center.
Screening rooms: Four screening Mammo 3D units.
Patients per day: 40 mammograms (screening/diagnostics), five ultrasounds, two Breast MRI, three biopsies.
Average unit census: 60 procedures a day.
Will locums be the sole provider? Yes.
Support staff: 1 supervisor, 5 technologists/registration/staff front desk.
Additional notes: Must be able to perform screening/diagnostic mammography reads, MRI breast reads, biopsies via ultrasound or mammography-guided, diagnostic breast ultrasound reads, and breast wire placements for surgery.
