Responsibilities:

• Document images being released to include a released data sheet and mailing if necessary and complete this process in reverse when films are returned.
• Present self in a positive manner reflected by personal attire and etiquette.
• Establish and maintain good rapport and cooperative relationship with medical staff, co-workers, supervisors, and others.
• Maintain confidentiality of hospital and department information with no infractions.
• Exhibit integrity, courtesy, and respect for others.
• Employ cost conscience techniques.
• Maintain professional, pleasant, and effective communications both internally and externally.
• Complete patient registration for lab and radiology exams and order lab and radiology procedures.
• Print images or prepare CDs as needed.
• Promote the hospital's image and maintain a positive and helpful attitude toward employees, physicians, visitors, and the community to enhance the hospital's reputation as a healthcare center.
• Receive patients, answer telephones, and prepare patients.
