Skagit Radiology Inc. P.S. seeks a Radiologist Assistant who will perform advanced diagnostic imaging procedures under the supervision of a staff radiologist, in accordance with the Washington State scope of practice for the RRA.

The position includes pre-imaging, imaging, post-imaging, and image review tasks as an intermediate caregiver to radiologists. Candidates must graduate from an ARRT-recognized RRA program, hold ARRT RRA certification and WA licensure, and have hands-on experience with

Qualifications

• Graduate from an ARRT-recognized RRA program.
• RRA certification by ARRT.
• Valid Washington State licensure as a radiologist assistant.
• Completion of formal advanced radiological training per ARRT guidelines.
• Experience in fluoroscopy and invasive procedures per ARRT RRA education program.
• Minimum two years clinical experience as an RRA.

Responsibilities

• Verify and review patient orders prior to exams.
• Provide complete patient information for interpreting physicians.
• Perform diagnostic/imaging procedures under supervision of Radiologist.
• Assist Radiologist with biopsies, drainages, and other procedures.
• Administer general and sedation medications as prescribed.
• Assist in image acquisition and communicate evaluation reports.
• Document procedures per policy and safety guidelines.
• Write discharge summaries for review and co-signature.
