Job summary

Geisinger Bloomsburg Hospital is seeking a first-year radiologic technology student to assist Radiology Technologist staff with non-technical and supervised support across imaging departments. You will help prepare patients, transport them, and assist in preparing imaging rooms for examinations.

Under direct supervision, you will gain competency in imaging procedures, patient safety, and documentation while supporting the radiology team in a clinical hospital setting.

Qualifications

• Must be a first-year student actively attending an accredited educational radiologic technology program recognized by the JRC-ARRT, JRC‑DMS, or accredited program recognized by the CCAHEP or CMA.
• High School Diploma or Equivalent (GED) required.
• Basic Life Support Certification - Default Issuing Body

Responsibilities

• Assist in patient preparation, positioning, and completion of examinations under direct supervision until competency is achieved.
• Assist in patient transportation and ensure imaging room readiness and supplies are stocked.
• Support technical staff with duties to complete imaging studies and ensure patient safety and confidentiality.
