Job summary

Tidelands Health is seeking a Radiology Aide to support daily department flow in the Radiology unit. The role involves entering orders into the ITS module, printing films and CDs, answering calls, and assisting with patient transport as needed.

The ideal candidate will have a High School diploma, basic computer skills, and a patient-care mindset. BLS certification is required within 30 days of hire, with ongoing recertification every two years.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 30 days of hire.
• Moderate computer skills necessary.
• Experience in medical environment preferred.
• Strong reading, writing and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Inputs OP physician orders into IT systems.
• Prints films and CDs for patient care.
• Answers and routes phone calls.
• Transports patients to and from Radiology as needed.
• Documents patient medical records accurately.
