Job summary

Responsibilities

• Answers telephone
• Accesses dictaphone system
• Order and work-up exams
• Contact ordering physicians as needed to clarify orders
• Maintains x-ray films and file room, requests previous folders from Radiology archives
• Distributes films and reports to respective radiology areas
• Contacts other facilities for comparison films
• Copies Radiology films and reports
• Reports any equipment malfunction
• Accepts responsibilities accurately as assigned by their supervisor
• Works independently
