Montefiore Medical Center seeks an Abdominal Imaging Radiologist at Assistant, Associate or Full Professor level. Responsibilities include clinical coverage of inpatient/outpatient services, and education/supervision of residents and fellows.

Candidates should be proficient in CT, MRI, ultrasound, fluoroscopy and CT-guided procedures, with an interest in research and academic radiology.

Qualifications

• Board-certified/eligible radiologist with fellowship training in abdominal imaging.
• Proficiency in abdominal and pelvic CT, MRI, ultrasound and fluoroscopy.
• Ability to perform CT-guided procedures.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical coverage of inpatient and outpatient facilities.
• Educate and supervise radiology residents and abdominal imaging fellows.
• Participate in tumor boards and other interdisciplinary conferences.
• Engage in departmental educational activities and research.

The Department of Radiology at Montefiore Medical Center and the Albert Einstein College of Medicine is accepting applications for a board certified/eligible Abdominal Imaging Radiologist with fellowship training at the Assistant, Associate or Full Professor level.

The Abdominal Imaging division provides clinical coverage of multiple inpatient and outpatient facilities, the Montefiore Cancer Center, transplant program and a busy Emergency Department.

Our faculty is responsible for daily education and supervision of radiology residents and abdominal imaging fellows.

Candidates will also participate in departmental educational activities, tumor boards and other interdisciplinary conferences.

An interest in research and strong desire for a career in academic radiology are encouraged—time is dedicated weekly for research and educational pursuits.

Qualified candidates must be proficient in abdominal and pelvic CT, MRI, Ultrasound and Fluoroscopy.

Ability to perform CT- guided procedures is preferred.

Subspecialties include Computed Tomography, Gastrointestinal Radiology, Genitourinary Radiology, and Magnetic Resonance Imaging.

Montefiore Medical Center is a large, urban, academic, tertiary care center and is a designated Diagnostic Imaging Center of Excellence.

State-of-the-art MR, CT and Ultrasound equipment, including a new 3D lab, is available for clinical imaging and cutting-edge research.

The Gruss MR Research Center houses a 3T and 9.4T MR, Micro PET/SPECT and HIFU.
