Job summary

Oregon Medical Group in Eugene, OR is seeking a Radiologist for an outpatient-focused practice in an on-site/hybrid role. The position features a flexible 3–4 day work week, possibility to work from home one day weekly, and a strong compensation package with incentives and relocation support.

You will interpret general imaging studies (X-ray, MRI, CT, ultrasound) and may focus on breast imaging if desired. No evenings or weekends; hours are 8am–5pm, Mon–Fri.

Qualifications

• Graduate of four-year U.S. Medical School; Radiology residency completed.
• Current BLS from the American Heart Association.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Radiology.
• Unrestricted Oregon license or ability to obtain before start date.
• Proficiency in X-ray, MRI, CT, ultrasound, etc.
• Strong analytical and diagnostic skills.
• Excellent communication skills to convey findings to medical staff.
• Ability to handle high caseloads efficiently while maintaining accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and interpret general imaging studies across multiple modalities (X-ray, MRI, CT, ultrasound, fluoroscopy).
• Provide detailed diagnostic reports and communicate findings to referring physicians.
• Assist physicians and other healthcare providers in diagnosis and treatment based on imaging results.
• Occasionally interact with patients to explain imaging procedures when necessary.
• Work with multidisciplinary teams, including oncologists, surgeons, internists, and other specialists in a breast tumor board.
• Provide real-time consultations during imaging-guided procedures when needed.
• Ensure high-quality diagnostic services by adhering to radiology protocols; participate in QA programs.
• Perform or assist in interventional procedures such as breast biopsies or guided injections.
• Participate in ongoing training to maintain board certification and continuing education.
