Job description

Our MedExpress location in York, PA is seeking a Radiology Technologist

Part-time position, only one 12-hour shift per week. A perfect way to earn extra income or work around an existing school or work schedule!

Responsibilities Include
  1. Our teams utilize a collaborative working model to build connections across our centers and communities.
  2. Perform accurate X-rays as ordered by the provider while practicing radiation safety precautions to include ALARA.
  3. Prepare and transmit images to the radiologist for over-read and report results to providers.
  4. Retrieve and archive radiographic reports; create/burn CDs in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
  5. Perform detailed and accurate data collection during clinical intake of patients, including taking and recording vital signs and patient history.
  6. Assist patients as needed with walking, transfer, specimen collection, exam prep, etc.
  7. Complete patient referrals and patient callbacks daily.
