Job summary

RAYUS Radiology is seeking a Radiology Support Specialist for a 100% remote, full-time role. The position operates Monday–Friday, 12:00 AM–8:30 PM EST, with rotating weekends and holidays, supporting hospitals and radiologists to maximize workflow in the reading center.

You will deliver excellent client service, draft and verify X-rays, and resolve RSS exceptions while coordinating with the IT support team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Associate or bachelor degree preferred in business or healthcare administration.
• 1 year of experience in a healthcare setting or customer service.
• Radiology Certification a plus.

Responsibilities

• Deliver client satisfaction through effective resolution of client calls.
• Efficient drafting of X-Rays and verification of cross sectional exams.
• Efficient remediation of studies on the RSS exceptions work list.
• Field requests from Radiologists to resolve issues with IT support team.
• Execute critical finding and super-stat requests.
• Maintain smooth operations in a high-volume client service center.
• Verify availability of diagnostic information across systems.
• Troubleshoot workflow gaps involving diagnostic data, orders, and physicians.
• Build rapport with the clinical team and teammates.
• Generate process-improvement ideas and act on them.

RAYUS Radiology is looking for a Radiology Support Specialist to join our team. As a Radiology Support Specialist, you will provide exceptional client service to hospitals and radiologists to ensure that the work flow through the reading center is maximized. Radiology Support Specialist duties may include answering inquires, resolving problems, fulfilling requests and database queries.

This is 100% remote position working 40 hours per week. Shifts are Monday-Friday from 12:00AM to 8:30PM EST, with rotating weekends and holidays.

• Deliver client satisfaction through effective resolution of client calls
• Efficient drafting of X-Rays and verification of cross sectional exams
• Efficient remediation of studies on the RSS exceptions work list
• Field requests from Radiologists to effectively resolve the issues through client contact or integration of the IT support team
• Effective execution of critical finding and super-stat requests
• Focus on assigned duties in a high volume client service center
• Utilize multiple information systems to verify the availability of diagnostic information
• Troubleshoot workflow gaps with diagnostic information, patient orders, and physician resources
• Owns issues through verified resolution
• Establish effective working rapport with clinical team including physicians
• Build effective relationships and work environment with teammates
• Generate process improvement ideas and take action on ideas
• In performance of all duties, acts in accordance with the company's mission, vision and values
