Job summary

SEARHC is seeking a radiologist to provide expert interpretation of imaging across Southeast Alaska. You will work with multiple modalities and collaborate with SEARHC providers to establish standards and improve patient care.

The role requires board-certified radiology, AMA-approved residency, and an Alaska license, with duties spanning mammography, ultrasound, CT, MRI, and general radiography. Remote site coordination and education duties are included.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree with AMA approved Radiology Residency and Board Certification.
• Active Alaska medical license and current BLS certification.
• Proficient in radiology modalities: radiography, fluoroscopy, mammography, Dexa, ultrasound, CT, MRI.

Responsibilities

• Interpret radiology examinations (spine, extremities, head, chest, abdomen, pelvis).
• Interpret mammograms, including mobile mammography in remote villages.
• Interpret ultrasound exams (OB/GYN, abdomen, pelvic, small parts, vascular).
• Supervise and interpret CT exams; approve contrast dosage.
