The Radiology team is seeking a fellowship-trained breast imager to join its diverse team of 30 radiologists, working part-time for 20 hours per week.

BREAST IMAGING RADIOLOGIST

Jefferson Einstein Hospital has a rich legacy dating back to 1866. Our mission continues to focus on providing compassionate, high-quality healthcare throughout the Greater Philadelphia region. We are leaders in mammography, pioneering Digital Breast Tomosynthesis and Molecular Breast Imaging (MBI), with a commitment to lowest radiation doses and digital imaging technology.

The Position

• No night or call obligations
• Proficient in all aspects of breast imaging, including:
• Tomosynthesis
• Breast Ultrasound
• Breast MRI
• Performing 27,000 screening mammograms annually
• Conducting 16,000 diagnostic mammograms annually
• Performing 2,200 biopsies/procedures annually
• Using Hologic Mammography equipment
• Utilizing Phillips ultrasound systems
• Employing DynaCAD for MRI
• Image-guided biopsies and procedures
• Web-based PACS with digital tomosynthesis capabilities
• Accredited by NAPBC and designated as a Breast Imaging Center of Excellence
• Using Smartcurve Technology
• Coverage across 2 hospitals and 3 outpatient centers
• Collaborating with a department of 30 radiologists
• Teaching residents in the Premier Radiology Residency program (24 residents)

Minimum Requirements

• MD or DO from an accredited program
• Completion of an accredited radiology residency
• Fellowship in Breast Imaging (required)
• Appropriate licenses and certifications
