MedStar Medical Group LLC d / b / a MedStar Medical Group has an opening for a Radiologist to join our team!

Job Duties :

Provide patient care services as assigned by Chair of Radiology. Provide radiology services in the hospital or ambulatory setting. Provide subspecialty consultations as requested by radiologists and referring physicians. Provide diagnostic and therapeutic services and procedures as appropriate for the physician's training and experience. Abide by appropriate policies and procedures as established by the applicable Department of Radiology, the applicable Hospital or ambulatory center, and MedStar Medical Group Radiology (MMGR). Assist the Chair of Radiology with the supervision of the staff of the radiology department. Assist the Chair of Radiology with the development and implementation of policies and procedures to ensure the applicable radiology department complies with all external regulatory agencies. Assist the Chair of Radiology with the development and implementation of the applicable radiology department's policies and procedures to ensure that clinical resources are utilized efficiently and in accordance with responsible clinical and fiscal management principles. Assist the Chair of Radiology with the development, implementation and evaluation of policies, procedures, and standards of care for the applicable radiology department to ensure quality patient care delivery. Support the medical education programs and activities of the applicable radiology department.

May telecommute from anywhere in the U.S., and report to the company's headquarters in Columbia, MD.

Position requires a Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) degree or foreign equivalent. Position requires completion of four years of Diagnostic Radiology residency training, and a one-year Abdominal Imaging fellowship program. Position also requires a valid Maryland medical license; a valid medical license for the state of residency; and Board Certification in Diagnostic Radiology, The American Board of Radiology.

SALARY : $500,000.00 / year
