Description

The duties of the Data Science Instructor include leading independent, original research programs and interacting with members of the Center for Data Science. This is a full-time position, with a light teaching load of one (1) CDS course per year as the primary instructor. The Data Science Instructor will also be expected to participate in service activities of the Center for Data Science at NYU, such as helping review admissions applications, committee work, organizing seminars, etc.

In compliance with NYC's Pay Transparency Act, the annual base salary of this position is $101,766.

Qualifications

This position requires a master's degree in Data Science or a related field. We seek applicants who have the potential to develop a strong record of scholarship and have the ability to conduct and develop high-quality research.
